CHALLENGE: The hospital has 45 operating rooms and performs 23,966 procedures annually. One of this facility’s key challenges was an undefined process for managing preference cards. The customer was in the midst of an EMR conversion and looking for a partner to assist with cleaning up their preference cards before implementing their new EMR system.
SOLUTION: PrefTech partnered with the OR team, supply chain, and executives to QA the hospital’s data to prepare it for input into the PrefTech OR software. This assisted with an overall clean-up of the facility’s preference cards that could then be utilized for their new EMR implementation.
